Large format CCD camera G3-11000

	G1, G2 and G3 camera system drivers for 32 and 64 bit Windows operating systems	Updated: 8.2.2010

Gx series of CCD cameras with USB interface require installation of system driver. Newly released driver pack for all series of Gx camera contains drivers for both 32 and 64 bit Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7). All drivers are digitally signed, which is required for drivers to be installed on 64 bit versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. (more...)

	New G3 CCD camera adapter for large TeleVue Paracorr PSB-1100	Updated: 3.2.2010

T-thread (M42 × 0.75) adapter or M42 × 1 adapter cause vignetting when used with G3-11000. Also common coma correctors (often equipped with T-thread) cause vignetting with this large chip. TeleVue Paracorr PSB-1100 with appropriate adapter must be used with KAI-11000 CCD. (more...)

	G3-11000 and G3-06300 CCD Cameras	Updated: 30.11.2009

New large format CCD cameras of the G3 series are designed for up to 24x36 mm (photographic “full-frame” format) CCD detectors. G3 series inherits from G2 cameras—camera handling, software control, power supply and connection to the host PC using fast USB interface is the same. Design of both series is very similar and although G3 camera head is naturally bigger, it contains all mechanics and electronics and offers only power and USB connectors. As like in the case of G2 cameras, G3 head contains mechanical shutter and integrated filter wheel for five 2-inch filters. Read noise is also limited only by CCD itself so G3 series surpasses competing products. Precisely regulated cooling achieves detector temperatures 50 °C below ambient temperature even if the G3 CCDs are bigger and thermal leakage is naturally higher. (more...)

	Download SIMS v1.1.5	Updated: 9.10.2009

New version of camera control and image processing software SIMS (Simple Image Manipulation System) is available for download. The possibility to keep guiding star at defined coordinates was added to the automatic guiding. Image combination tools were enhanced to be able to create partial sums or medians of aligned images. 	G2-2000 and G2-4000 CCD Cameras	Updated: 25.11.2009

New series of G2-CCD cameras was developed especially with astro-photographers on mind. These cameras utilize sensitive, low noise Kodak KAI Interline-transfer CCD detectors with anti-blooming gates and electronic shutter with short-exposure capability. Updated version of camera electronics with High-speed USB 2.0 interface provides fast image download and very low camera read noise. Other camera features are identical to the G2 series cameras based on Full-frame Kodak KAF CCD detectors—very efficient two-stage Peltier CCD cooling up to 50 degrees Celsius below ambient temperature, simple 12 V DC power supply, compact and robust camera head with mechanical shutter and optional 5 or 6-positions filter wheel. 	MII CCD cameras reached “astronomical paramount”	Updated: 6.10.2008

	G1-0300, G1-0800, G1-1400 and G1-2000 CCD imaging/guiding cameras	Updated: 25.11.2009

New series of G1 CCD cameras are based on Sony ICX CCD detectors. The USB-powered devices are very compact and lightweight, so it can be attached to any telescope through 1.25" adapter. Standard C or CS-mout thread also allows attaching to various CCTV lenses, microscopes and other devices. (more...)
